Achievements

Jami University has been delivering quality and balanced academic services and taking steps to develop this scientific / academic center since the beginning of its establishment; therefore, it is its responsibility to serve more in the community by correct leadership and management. It is an honor that this academic center has had favorable achievements and results by trying administrative and academic cadres of university in different fields such as scientific, cultural, sports and so forth. Some of these achievements are as follow:

1. Jami University, by considering the rules of the country and determined criteria of Higher Education, managed to gain the privilege of distributing diploma sheet for its students. The Ministry of Higher Education decided to distribute the same diploma to all private and public universities in order for them to have the same privilege. Jami University is the first private academic institute in the western part of the country which has completed all the criteria set by the ministry of higher education and gained this privilege; as a result, the graduate students are distributed diploma instead of certificate.
2. Gaining the title of championship in competitive tournaments of Allegorical Courts of provincial Media Rights of Herat Province which was held by clinic of media rights of faculty of Law and Political Science as well as Internet News Agency in Herat University between private and public universities and institutes of higher education.
3. Gaining the title of championship in football tournaments, which was held in 1394 between private universities and institute of Higher Education in Herat city.
4. Gaining the title of vice championship in chess tournaments. Different teams from Herat University and other private universities have participated in this tournament.
5. Gaining a good position among universities and institutes by receiving 82.6
6. Participating 2,000 students in different colleges.
7. graduating 1410 students in three periods.
8. publicizing a scientific journal seasonally.
9. having 149 master and doctor degrees in different faculties
10. Dispatching 45 students to study master’s degree.
11. Employing graduated students in administrative departments of the university.
12. Systematizing all scientific, administrative and financial affairs of the students with new technology.
13. making the everyday administrative affairs electrical.
14. Creating Online Services and Student website on university website.
15. Creating an electrical library
16. A hundred-year contract with famous international companies such as Google and Microsoft.
17. Implementing chemical and biological research for European international organizations.
18. Creating employment environment for 200 people.
19. Establishing a graduate center
20. Getting the Top Rank among Afghan Universities in the Mobile Money Program.
21. Gaining the title of championship in the sports competition among Herat Universities
22. buying 150 acres of land for the permanent campus of the university and creating a green space
23. Buying one acre of land (2000 square meters) in order to build a hospital in the center of Herat city.
24. Contract with private the hospital for Stage Medical Students.
